Definitely exaggerating, but it also depends on how you maintain your machine. If you keep it on the floor more dust will enter it and make the fans work harder. Keep it in a nice clean area on top of a desk and you should have no problems. I took my ps4 pro apart and cleaned it out of the dust that was inside it a few months back.

God of war 3 was one of my favourite games ever, but playing this just completely blows it out the water. Didn’t manage to play many of the big PS4 releases because of school etc, but got a PS5 on release and jumped straight into God of War and honestly it might be for me the best game of all time, definitely top 5.

I'm playing on a PS4 Pro. I started in Performance mode, but found the framerate to fluctuate too much. Switching to Resolution mode, while running at 30fps rather than the 40+ of Performance, feels much more stable and smoother to me as it's not bouncing all over the place.

Granted they could still let you download the PS4 version if you try and do that, but this is Sony we're talking about. Whats funny is that there are games out there like Elden Ring where the performance at launch was better on the Pro than the ps5.
You can watch some comparison videos to see how it runs on base Ps4, Ps4 Prop, and Ps5 to see the frame rate differences. Ps4 is 30, Ps4 pro seems to be around 45fps, and Ps5 is about 60fps 4k. I just beat the main story and I have a base PS4. Overall, my experience was still awesome.
