The R6 is about a stop better than my previous 6D in terms of overall noise. Shots I got at ISO 12800 on my 6D, can easily get at ISO 25600 on the R6. bigshledge's gear list: Canon EOS R6 Canon EOS R10 Canon EF 135mm F2L USM Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Sigma 8mm F3.5 EX DG Circular Fisheye +6 more.
The Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 lens is a budget, non-L series lens from Canon that still takes very good photos on the Canon 6D and Canon 6D Mark II. You will not get the image quality of the more expensive zoom lens above, but it is more than good enough for most people. The main advantage is the full frame sensor in 6D2, which is what enables it to have better low light performance. The 6D2 also has 30% more resolution, 20MP vs 26MP, which almost offsets the natural crop factor of the 7D2’s APS-C image sensor. The 6D2 has 45 AF points, compared to 61 AF points in the 7D2. Canon EOS 6D Mark II vs Sony A6000. Canon EOS 6D Mark II. 9.17% more megapixels (main camera) Weather-sealed (splashproof) 51200ISO higher maximum expanded ISO. 840shots longer battery life. 1515ISO higher low-light ISO (DxOMark) Has a microphone input.
Low light performance on the 6D is likely to be better than the 90D. It very much comes down to what you need from a camera. Video and sports/wildlife photography where long lenses and high shooting speeds are useful favour the 90D. For landscape and portrait work, etc the 6D MK2 may be a better choice.
The 6D has better high ISO image quality, but these two cameras are very similar in regards to image quality. I feel that the 5D Mark III remains a solid upgrade from the 6D, but the 6D has some features that will make it the right choice for many - especially the price feature. Below is my attempt at a comprehensive list of the substantive
In everyday use, there won’t be many times that this is critical. But at large magnifications, there will be times when you notice the difference in image quality. The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV has 61 AF focus points, compared with the EOS 6D Mark II’s 45. All of the 6D Mark II’s focus points are cross-type. The 5D has 41 cross-type AF points.

Conclusions. The Canon 6D sensor has very impressive performance, from very low measured read noise to the lowest pattern noise at low ISO that I have seen to date on a Canon sensor. It also has the highest dynamic range I have measured for a Canon sensor. The 6D has excellent high signal response, making this camera a top performer.
There's a notable difference in weight too: the EOS R6 Mark II weighs 670g with battery and memory card, the EOS R8 just 461g. In fact, at its launch the EOS R8 is the lightest full-frame camera that Canon has ever made. Some of the difference in size and weight between the two cameras can be attributed to the bigger battery in the EOS R6 Mark II.
The Canon 6D Mark II is a very well built device, that doesn’t necessarily feel professional, but is professionally constructed. Unlike the legacy model, it uses a combination of aluminum alloy and polycarbonate with glass fiber construction on its body, making it extremely durable and light for its category at 765grams.
The resulting image will have less quality than when staying within the native ISO range, but it can be useful in certain situations. has sensor shift stabilization. Canon EOS 6D.
